I am heading out to my annual or semi annual Lan party this afternoon.  Mark is meeting Brian(his Brian) at my place and then we are heading to the edge of San Diego for a couple days of killing electronic versions of each other.

I am missing Jack's first bday party and the last Tai Chi graduation at IVC.  That irks me a little since when we set this up neither of those things were happening this weekend.  If I wasn't paying for the hotel I would back out of the LAN.  Oh well.  It should be a fun time. Jack won't know I wasn't there and I am sure Tai Chi will continue on at another place.

Hockey and Running this week tore me up.  My shoulder is back to hurting and my knee.  I missing this mornings run cause I forgot to set my 620 alarm.  It is set for Monday so at least next week I can start off on a good stride again.

So in an effort to not suck at running at the end of my triathlons I have started getting up at 620 and running before work.  So far I am doing it MWF and have done it monday and wednesday.  It definitely is not fun but then again most things that are worth it are not fun.  I did 1.7 on monday and 2.4 today.  I am hoping for over 3 on friday but we shall see.

Hockey tonight.  Playing one of the top teams in the round robin first set up of the playoffs.  So we shall see how it goes.  I think we are already out of contention cause we have a loss and an overtime loss.  So 1 point from 2 games is probably not going to get us there.

On Friday I proposed to Juli and she said yes.  We were headed to the Vine and I handed her the first clue.  It was a series of Scavenger Hunt Notes that took us to her house and Scott and then to my work and Brian and finally to a look out point at the end of Calle de Estrella in San Clemente and Mark.  I proposed at the little look out over looking the ocean and PCH.  It didn't go quite as planned.  Mark was watching his google maps and it didn't update so he was late to the clue delivery.  And cause he was late there was a bag lady at the bench where I was planning to propose.  So I ended up proposing closer to the street than planned.  But it was still fine.

We hit up Vine afterwards.  Defintely going to have to go when I don't have a house account and I have some money.  I am really glad my mom invested there.  They were awesome as always and the meal was incredible.   Special treat was a pork pate.  It was pretty darn tasty and so much that we saved some for the next day.

After that we went to her parents place to share with her Dad and then to Ironman 2.  It was a good movie but not the highlight of the night.  Either way it was fun to watch and a good evening as a whole.

Going to see about moving old entries over here.  We shall see what type of conversion needs to be done.
